Panama Jackie!
Jackie brings her quilts to me from Greensboro. She booked a couple of weeks on my calendar and brought me a bunch at one time.
She made this fun quilt on a quilting cruise. Doesn't that sound like a great time!
This quilt was from a Karen Kay Buckley class. I am still in awe of her circles.
Another of her beautiful applique wall hangings. It is called Bittersweet Briar from Kim Dielh's patterns. It is a good thing that I had a good look at this photo too. Can you see the missing line? Check out the center background in the lower right corner. I'm glad I caught this. I was able to pop the quilt back on the frame and fix it before she got here.
Beautiful circles again?! Need I say more?
This last quilt was made from two batik panels that Jackie bought when she was in Bali. Hand dyed. Yum!
Thanks Jackie!

Debbie's Blossom
The pattern for this one is called Blossom, Debbie liked the way I quilted Lorraine's black and pink one. She asked for swirls on the outer border.

Kelly's Asian quilt
I had a lot of fun quilting Kelly's Asian quilt. All she asked for was custom. She left the rest to me.
I had to break out the invisible thread on this one. I don't tend to use invisible thread much. I know quilters who swear by it and always use it for stitch in the ditch work. I usually just match background colors, but the fabrics were different enough on the outer fans that I was afraid the thread would show up too much.
I happened to have a cone of Magnifico gold thread that I got with my APQS George. I have been waiting for just the right quilt and it was perfect for this!
Thanks Kelly!
