Sheryl's quilt
I'm back! I know it seems like I have dropped off the face of the blogging world, but I have been quilting like a maniac. The only time I remember that I forgot to post pics, is when I'm falling into bed at night. So here I am sitting at the computer. Thought I'd throw a couple of quilt photos out there.
This is Sheryl's beautiful fall colored quilt. This one came all the way from South Carolina! She was up at Sewingly Yours visiting friends and they gave her my name. She dropped off the quilt on her back back south.
This one was a challenge, because it had an extra wide border. There were leaves appliqued on opposite corners and Sheryl wanted something with vines.
I used my Bohin pen and drew the spine and leaves and set to work. Then I echoed a bit after to fill in the empty spaces.
Thanks Sheryl!

Love the simplicity of your quilting and especially the "wind blowing" accents around the leaves. A wonderful finish!!
